Hi, I’m Sean, owner of 3Kings Epoxy.

How do you prepare the garage floor?
Preparation is very important and it's what makes or breaks a floor coating! We use mechanical diamond grinding (absolute must as opposed to acid etching for creating the right surface profile/CSA). This removes contaminants, opens pores for adhesion, and addresses oil stains, old coatings, or moisture.
How long does the installation take, and when can I use my floor again?
Our installs usually take 2 days, depending on system and garage size. Walk-on time is typically 24-48 hours. Full heavy use and returning items may take 5-7 days.
What type of coating/materials are used?
We use use 100% solid epoxy base (no solvents, thicker build) and polyaspartic/polyurea top coats (faster cure, more flexible, UV-resistant to prevent yellowing).
Will the coating be durable against hot tires, chemicals, oil, salt, and everyday use?
Yes, our high-quality systems resist oil, gasoline, brake fluid, road salt, and hot tires.
What do I need to do/move/remove before the install?
Fully empty the garage—remove all items from the floor (vehicles, tools, shelves, etc.), except water heaters. If you are unable to do this, our team will handle it a small extra fee.
